Amazon Summer Vacay Faves

For many, Summer means taking a well-deserved break and embarking on a memorable vacation. For my recent vacation to Mexico, I curated a list of necessary items to take with me to make my experience carefree and relaxing. Whether you're on vacation, attending an outdoor event or just relaxing at home in the yard or by the pool, these items will come in handy. Sunscreen: No matter what you're doing, if you will be outdoors, it's always a good idea to apply and re-apply sunscreen. Two of my faves are the Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 because it leaves no white cast and the Sun Bum SPF 45 Face Mist because it's easy to re-apply, even if you're wearing makeup.
Beach Bag: A cute beach bag is essential to hold all of your things when going to the beach or sitting by the pool. I got this large, straw woven tote and took it with me to the resort. There was more than enough room for everything that I needed. And did I mention that it's super cute?
Swimsuit: There are so many swimsuits out there to choose from and let's face it, you definitely need more than one. I particularly love this one because it comes in larger sizes, it's colorful and it's still sexy with the middle cutout. I felt comfortable and still cute in this.
Drink Floaties: While these aren't necessities, they are super fun! The unicorn drink floaties were a hit at the resort. Everyone kept asking where we got them. They also kept our drinks afloat while in the pool. The pink, flamingo drink floaties are another good option. They come in a 3 pack and there are more even more fun animals and shapes to choose from.
Cooling Towels: These cooling towels really came in handy while sitting out at the pool in the 90 plus degree heat. It's a really neat concept and they actually stayed cold for several hours throughout the day before having to wet again. We wet them and dunked them in an ice bucket before putting them in the plastic pouch that they came with. Wrapping them around your neck will help to cool your body down.
Visor Hat: If you're not in a shaded area, this visor hat is a great solution. It has a wide brim to help provide UV protection. Not only is it stylish, it comes in multiple colors, roll to be easily stored or packed away in your bag and has an opening at the top if your hair is pulled up.
